About The Position

ABM Electrical Power Services is looking for Test Technicians level 1. Under the direct supervision of certified NETA Technicians, the test technicians 1 will be exposed to field work such as electrical power systems testing for low, medium, and high voltage environments, analyzing data, creating reports, perform IR scans and detect hot spots on electrical systems. This role has the potential for growth and career development, ABM is a NETA accredited company that's able to provide career path to certification for successful trainees/technicians. In this role, you are expected to travel up to 10% of the time with a crew, within designated territory. All our positions are Full-time, Direct hire openings offering hourly pay + paid overtime & Full benefits.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Must be able to climb ladders.

Nice To Haves

• NETA Certification (Preferred but not required)
• 1 yr. + of similar work experience
• Similar career certification or school program

Responsibilities

• Learn from certified NETA Technicians
• Perform testing for electrical systems & apparatus.
• Learn to use the required tools, testing equipment to perform the job.
• Perform IR Scanning (Infrared-Thermal Imaging) on electrical systems.
• Create reports.
• Assist other technicians.
