Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, and backend application development
  • Experience building and supporting APIs and data-driven applications
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable)
  • Experience with SQL databases; NoSQL experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Git and modern branching strategies
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well and can mentor junior engineers

Nice To Haves

  • Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, or Cosmos DB
  • Experience modernizing or refactoring legacy applications
  • Healthcare or insurance industry experience
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant systems or EDI interfaces
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Interest in automation, CI/CD, or AI-assisted development
