BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Software Developer who is skilled to succeed in both the area of “refinement type” of development as well as developing and coding in a “maintenance-type” of environment. This is a fantastic growth opportunity to support a high profile Government Agency working on mission critical initiatives that will expose the engineer we select to a large set of technology, as well as a wider group of challenges to embrace. Our ideal candidate is someone who is seasoned in their career with approximately 5 years of job and/or project-related experience, but mature enough in their approach to taking on more than typical UI related issues, changes or adjustments. We strongly desire a curious and highly motivated individual to work on this small and very talented team of solution experts! The Senior Software Developer will work independently on a technical team of other engineers to collaborate with. He or she will be coding in C# and must demonstrate strong Typescript front-end framework experience, preferably in Angular but also accepted are Vue or React. The Senior Software Developer will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining web and windows applications based on this customer’s driven requirements for the purpose of querying and reporting on customer owned assets. Our Senior Software Developer will design, maintain and implement Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software designed to use particular methodologies required to meet specific procedural requirements. The Senior Software Developer will design, maintain, and implement original software applications from a high-level, non-specific set of concepts provided by the Government. The Developer will develop applications of large and complex software (and systems) and web-based query and reporting systems.
