About The Position

Our commitment to leveraging strategic analysis to drive the right strategy and executions has taken on greater importance in today's competitive and shifting market environment. In this role you will operate as a true strategic consultant and trusted advisor. You will conduct deep data analysis leveraging multiple sources of data, distill actionable insights, and work with cross-functional partners to craft solutions through key revenue growth levers (including but not limited to: Strategic Pricing, Channel PPA (Price Pack Architecture), Mix Management, Trade Optimization, eComm and Omnichannel growth strategies etc.) NRO is an advanced, internal consulting team. As an Intern, we do not expect you to be an expert in all the above areas. We expect you to be curious, creative, data-driven, and ready to quickly apply what you learn to strategic business questions.

Requirements

  • A Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in school with requisite educational experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or another related field.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • A well-rounded skill set including strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and project management skills as well as an interest in data visualization, advanced analytics, and finding innovative solutions to complex business questions.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and have the ability to identify patterns and trends in the data.
  • A passion for numbers, data, analytics, and strategy.
  • The ability to take initiative and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Create and leverage deep consumer and retailer insights that drive data-inspired decision making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create strategic account recommendations supporting the broader organization.
  • Support the development of capabilities utilizing syndicated data, JMS financial data, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Develop and deliver effective data stories through high impact data visualizations and communication skills.
  • Gain meaningful and translatable experience from the real work you will be provided, relationship management, and professional development.
