About The Position

The .NET Developer position at Infosys focuses on providing technical expertise and coordinating daily deliverables for the team. The role involves assisting in the technical design of large business systems, building applications, and ensuring data security and recovery. The developer will also research technologies to recommend solutions, contribute to best practices, and guide the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in .NET technologies, ASP.NET, ADO .NET, MVC framework.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience in UI technologies like Angular, CSS3, HTML 5.
• Experience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development/maintenance life cycle.
• At least 2 years of experience with application development and support.
• Ability to connect with business teams and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders such as DBA, Infrastructure team, Network team, Business, and Architecture group.
• Sound knowledge of SQL, Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures, and Database design.
• Basic knowledge of Design patterns.
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and technologies (Dot Net).
• Ability to work in a diverse/multiple collaborator environment.
• Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.
