About the position
The .Net Developer position is a contract role based in Reynoldsburg, OH, focusing on web development using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET development, particularly with ASP.NET Core and MVC, and will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development tasks. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration with team members and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Razor.
- Implement front-end designs using ASP.NET MVC UI and Bootstrap.
- Utilize jQuery and AJAX for asynchronous web development.
- Design and develop SQL Server databases, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
- Create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and integrate them into MVC applications.
- Conduct unit testing and performance testing of applications.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile development environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in .NET web development with stand-alone and N-tier architecture.
- 8+ years of full stack development experience in Microsoft stack or MS.NET technologies.
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior .Net Web Developer using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core 6.0 and above (3-5+ years).
- 6-8+ years of experience in ASP.NET MVC UI design and application development.
- 6-8+ years of experience with jQuery and implementing asynchronous JavaScript.
- 8+ years of experience developing with C#.
- 6-8+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and development.
- 4-6+ years of experience developing reports in SSRS/Telerik Reporting.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Visual Studio 2019 or 2022.
