About The Position

Custom Glass Solutions in Upper Sandusky, OH is seeking a great person to join our IT team! This is a 100% onsite position, at our Upper Sandusky facility. No relocation package is available for this role. The role of the Application Developer is to ensure the stability, security, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and MS SQL Server database programming skills. The developer will participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce new code as well as revise, update, and debug existing code. Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science\Software Engineering or 5+ years of development experience
Knowledge of Visual Basic.Net and C#
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, MS SQL Server design/architectural patterns
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Knowledge of Standard Change Management practices
The position requires the ability to sit and type for extended periods of time.
Standing, walking, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, and reaching will occur occasionally.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Candidate must be People Focused, Results Driven, and Innovative

Familiarity with Appeon PowerBuilder a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
Test and deploy applications in accordance with company change management policy.
Provide training to co-workers for all modified and new applications.
