About The Position

14520 – .Net Developer (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client OR onsite. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Required: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required); Experience with Application and Business Requirements Analysis (5+ years); Experience with .NET Web Application Development in ASP.NET/MVC using C# (5+ years); Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (5+ years); Experience with MS Visual SourceSafe or Team Foundation Server or Git (5+ years); Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (3+ years); Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database (5+ years); Experience with SQL programming including stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked servers (5+ years); Experience with data design/modeling and performance tuning (5+ years); Experience with SQL relational databases (5+ years); Experience with PowerShell scripts (5+ years); Experience in the collection and analysis of data and software process evaluation (5+ years); Experience with determining and documenting user requirements (5+ years); Experience with Red Gate SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare (2+ years); Experience with government or health industry software (5+ years); Experience with case management software (2+ years); Experience supporting and utilizing Teams, Skype, and/or webinar tools (2+ years). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Coordinate with the project team and Department staff to manage tasks and deliverables, research solutions, and document all findings in assigned support tickets. Write application code, stored procedures, SQL queries, and user help documentation in accordance with BSCIP Software Application Coding Standards and support ‑ ticket requirements. Develop and execute test plans, perform system testing, document defects and resolutions, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following BSCIP testing procedures. Promote code modifications through the Development, Test, and Production environments in compliance with BSCIP Software Promotion Procedures using approved Department tools. Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues, researching solutions, implementing fixes, and performing routine system maintenance as directed. Perform analytical research and communicate regularly—verbally and in writing—with project teams and stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and weekly status updates. Adhere to all Department data security and confidentiality policies, complete required background screenings, and conduct travel only when authorized according to Department policy. Why apply?
