About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a .Net Developer in Tempe, AZ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
  • Experience with SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Deep experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Experience building large-scale web-based applications with high user volume
  • Strong knowledge of C#, Angular, and .NET platform
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Understands timelines and can hold others accountable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Must be aware of all Azure services available for app deployment
  • Clear, confident communicator
  • Able to speak intelligently about technology
  • Leadership qualities: mentoring, team accountability, and delivery ownership

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with government or transportation systems
  • Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with digital identity and portal development
  • Exposure to Smart City or citizen engagement technologies

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and services using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
  • Provide technical support for existing systems, including AZMVDNow.gov and other digital government tools
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of deployed solutions
  • Support legacy system modernization efforts for motor vehicle and transportation systems
  • Integrate applications with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
  • Contribute to the development of Smart City and digital identity initiatives
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders
  • Document code, processes, and system architecture for internal and external use
