About The Position

UMB Fund Services is a nationally respected investment services provider offering a broad array of services for mutual funds and alternative investments. The Fund Services Application Support team provides management, support and maintenance of the Fund Services ecosystem. The team ensures the applications and associated systems, and processes are performing efficiently to avoid business disruption. As a .NET Developer, you will be involved in the development and maintenance of our Fund Services applications that are integrated with enterprise systems. You will also be supporting testing efforts involving installation and upgrade of these applications. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which involves other multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership. This role is hybrid (Monday through Thursday on-site) for candidates in Milwaukee, WI or Kansas City, MO metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of Milwaukee and Kansas City area but within the US only. How you’ll spend your time: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications. Write clean, easily maintainable, and testable code following best practices Participate in the full Software Development Life cycle (SDLC). Handle multiple work streams simultaneously. Collaborate with product owners and other developers to deliver features end to end Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis We’re excited to talk with you if you have: At least 3 years of technical experience specifically within application development. At least 3 years of experience with the following technologies: C#.NET/VB.NET/.NET (Core or Framework) RESTful APIs and integration with internal/external services Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) Understanding of security best practices in cloud and application development Strong database knowledge with Oracle and SQL Server. Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft stack, Oracle stack and Web Services. Front end experience with React, Angular, or Blazor Knowledge of message queues Strong problem‑solving skills and ability working independently or as a part of a project team environment driven by client deadlines. In-depth unit testing and automated testing experience. Bonus Points if you have: Financial industry experience specifically in Fund Services. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of technical experience specifically within application development.
