About The Position

The .Net Developer will support and develop critical products for the San Antonio Metro Health Department, focusing on both technical and customer support aspects. The role requires managing multiple projects while adhering to strict delivery schedules, ensuring effective product delivery and support.

Requirements

• Proficiency in .NET C# for custom applications.
• Experience with Java for API interaction.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with database technologies, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud services such as Azure and AWS.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile product delivery.
• Familiarity with JIRA for project management.
• Experience with SQL for database queries.
• Knowledge of healthcare applications such as Righfax, Starlims, EzEMRx, Epi Surveillance, EpITrax, and Rhapsody.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and development for mission-critical products used by the San Antonio Metro Health Department.
• Assist with day-to-day support and product delivery.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
• Interpret and author database queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Edit and interpret XML files as needed.
• Utilize troubleshooting and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve application issues.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, particularly in Agile methodologies.
