About The Position

As a NetApp Storage Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the NetApp storage infrastructure. Your work will ensure data integrity, availability, and security, while continuously optimizing system performance and capacity to meet demanding requirements. You'll be at the forefront of technological advancements, contributing to solutions that safeguard our nation.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with NetApp storage technologies and concepts.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience troubleshooting storage issues, analyze performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize storage performance.
• Experience performing capacity planning and forecasting to ensure storage resources are available to meet business needs.
• Experience developing and implementing data backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Experience with the security and compliance of the storage infrastructure, implementing appropriate security hardening measures and following DISA best practices.
• Experience providing technical support to internal teams and customers regarding NetApp storage solutions.
• Experience with SAN, NAS, and iSCSI, Snapmirror, SVMDR, Flexcache, Snapcenter and Unified Manager and BlueXP.
• NetApp certifications (e.g., NCDA)
