Requirements

  • Undergraduate electrical engineering student who has completed their 2nd year with an emphasis and/or interest in electrical power systems and/or control systems.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Assist with documenting records of experiments, procedures, and results.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive one or more project assignments related to some aspect of an ongoing site engineering project.
  • Support with mechanical and/or electrical drawings, commissioning of equipment in the pilot plant, product trials, implementation of automation or rollout of digital tools.
  • Work under the supervision of an experienced mentor and provide regular updates.
  • Develop and present a preliminary project plan, progress reports, and a final presentation of results.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to innovative solutions.
  • Update process & instrumentation (P&ID) drawings and electrical drawings to maintain the existing equipment.
  • Verify the site electrical single-line diagram.
  • Update electrical panel labels and panel schedules.
