About The Position

The NERC O&P Compliance Lead will Lead the administration and oversight of the RWECE NERC O&P compliance program including the development and maintenance of associated program requirements (e.g., policies, processes, procedures, and guidance). Role Responsibilities: Lead the administration and oversight of the RWECE NERC O&P compliance program including the development and maintenance of associated program requirements (e.g., policies, processes, procedures, and guidance) Collects, reviews, organizes, and preserves evidence in coordination with internal departments to support regulatory requests and audits Assists with compliance to applicable rules, and other compliance requirements through research, data/evidence collection, analysis, and compliance submissions to the appropriate reliability entities Provides support to internal departments responsible for adherence to compliance requirements including the development and delivery of training and the dissemination of compliance guidance and industry best practices Leads investigative analysis for potential non-compliance and the development and submission of self-reports and mitigation plans to NERC Leads data gathering and development of responses for regulatory compliance requests, self-certifications, enforcement actions, data requests, and audit requests, including the submission of responses Leads periodic internal compliance assessments and spot-checks on applicable NERC O&P Standards Leads the tracking of new and revised NERC O&P Standards and with Compliance Impact Assessments Maintains knowledge of the NERC Reliability Standards and regional standards that apply to Generator Owners and Generator Operators, as well as applicable ISO requirements Maintains understanding of NERC compliance monitoring and enforcement processes Leads projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in NERC compliance
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory process and requirements
  • Experience with NERC 693 Reliability Standards and Requirements preferably within a GO or GOP
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills, project management and process improvement skills are needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
