The NERC Compliance Specialist at PSEG will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and security of the bulk electric system by overseeing compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards. This position is part of the NERC Compliance Group, which is responsible for governance and oversight of PSEG's adherence to these standards. The specialist will be tasked with meeting critical NERC reporting deadlines, compiling and maintaining compliance documents, and developing plans for audit preparation and mitigation activities. The role requires a proactive approach to applying and further developing NERC expertise to support PSEG's compliance program initiatives. Collaboration with various business units is essential, as the specialist will provide guidance and promote the NERC standard development processes that align with the company's interests. This position is primarily remote but requires in-office presence at least eight times a month, emphasizing the need for purpose-driven interactions.
