The Neptune Key Grip will assist the Neptune Stage Manager in all aspects of Show Production, including load-in, run-of-show production, and load-out. This full-time position requires a commitment of 30+ hours per week and is focused on ensuring a high-quality experience for patrons and artists at the Neptune Theatre.

  • Assist with all aspects of Stage Operations on Night-of-Show, from Load In through Load Out.
  • Follow Venue Policies & Procedures.
  • Assist Stage Manager & act as 'Crew Chief' on larger scale productions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and assist all Department Heads on special (non-show) projects.
  • Help maintain the Neptune Theatre as a premier 1,000 capacity venue.
  • A minimum of 3 years Stagehand/Grip experience in a 500+ capacity venue.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • A positive attitude and ability to get along with and take direction from House & Tour Crew.
  • Competitive pay of $28-30/hour based on experience.
  • Full-time position with 30+ hours per week.
