About The Position
Bowhead is seeking multiple NEPS Training Instructors to support the implementation training for the NAVSEA enterprise. These trainers will become subject matter experts (SMEs) in NEPS, COMPTROLLER tools, and their connections to Navy ERP and EDW. The role requires the development of user guides and tools for all future functionalities. Each trainer will focus on a specific area but must also be cross-trained across the BFM competency. The NEPS Master Trainer will work closely with the NAG, NEPS developers, and the NEPS SME to create and deliver NEPS training. This includes developing NEPS User Guides, Work Instructions, and training materials, as well as conducting quarterly training sessions at NAVSEA Headquarters and other NAVSEA Enterprise sites as needed. The trainer will also develop presentation materials and schedule virtual training sessions for NEPS stakeholders, covering each NEPS module, role-based functionality, newly deployed features, and release cliff notes. In addition, the Comptroller Master Trainer will collaborate with the COMPTROLLER and BFMC teams to develop and deliver training on COMPTROLLER budget tools and processes. This includes creating new module User Guides, Work Instructions, and training materials, as well as conducting quarterly training sessions at NAVSEA Headquarters and other NAVSEA Enterprise sites. The trainer will also generate, update, and publish Comptroller-focused documentation, including User Guides and Desktop Aids. The position requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills, experience in developing and delivering training, and proficiency in various software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
