About The Position

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Nephrology Physician to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Robert J. Dole V Medical Center located at 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
Current AHA BLS and ACLS
NPI report printout
Active DEA license
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
Must be able to:
Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

Responsibilities

Provide full‑scope Nephrology clinical services, including:
Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD)
Fluid/electrolyte disorders
Hypertension
Nephrolithiasis
Management of kidney transplant patients
Oversight of all dialysis modalities (hemodialysis, PD, CRRT, PIRRT)
Perform consults:
Bedside consults for non‑ambulatory inpatients
Clinic consults for ambulatory patients
Schedule procedures within 30 days of consult date
Manage medications in compliance with VA policies (no sample meds).
Provide discharge and follow‑up instructions coordinated with the next level of care.
