The General Medicine Department, Section of Nephrology at BIDMC is seeking a full-time Nephrologist – Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor - for our Boston location. The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Nephrology program provides adult inpatient and outpatient services at the academic medical center in Boston, as well as community sites throughout the Boston region. The Nephrologist will provide inpatient, outpatient and dialysis services at BIDMC Boston and in the greater Boston area. Additionally, they will train and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering their development in renal medicine. Engaging in medical staff quality improvement activities and contributing to care plan meetings are essential components of the position. Furthermore, the candidate will perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of HMFP and BIDMC. As a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, BIDMC and the Department of Medicine, provide a clinically advanced and supportive academic environment for residents, fellows, and faculty. We’re also proud and excited to be an integral part of the landmark collaboration among Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only freestanding adult inpatient cancer hospital.
