About The Position

Unleash your potential and make an impact! This position develops, coordinates, administesr and monitors the Environmental Review and Environmental Condition of Property (ECOP) portions of the Department of Military Affairs Statewide Environmental Program to ensure compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, AR 200-1, NGB-ILE's ECOP Policy and with related Federal, State, and local environmental laws and regulations. The employee reports to the Director of Environmental Management and serves as the primary point of contact pertaining to NEPA and ECOP for NCARNG facilities statewide, National Guard Bureau (NGB), and other Federal and State agencies. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, retirement, and health insurance. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in one of the agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences or a closely related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Federal or State Environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
Experience with State Historical Preservation Office Procedures.
Experience reviewing and interpreting contruction designs.
