About The Position

Amazing Per Diem Opportunity for a Neonatologist in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida! Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Neonatologist to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The hospital’s NICU offers: State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service Primary responsibilities include p roviding attending coverage at our Level-III NICU All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit Our core values support a culture of life-long learning and professional growth About the hospital Golisano Children's Hospital is part of Lee Health and the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami A stand alone 135 bed, 7-story facility that opened in 2017 Home to southwest Florida's only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Unit Named top children's hospital by the Leapfrog Group four times, among many other accolades

Requirements

• Board Certication in Neonatology with recent experience required
• FL license required

Responsibilities

• Providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
