About The Position

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join a collaborative, well-supported Level III NICU team in Lexington, Kentucky, offering hands-on clinical care, strong neonatal nurse practitioner support, and a schedule designed to prioritize work-life balance while maintaining procedural excellence. Job Description: The Neonatologist will be responsible for: Providing comprehensive neonatal care in a 32-bed Level III NICU Managing care for infants from a busy newborn nursery service Supporting approximately 4,000 annual deliveries Working alongside 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours Participating in home-based night call, with 24/7 in-house NNP coverage Performing and maintaining hands-on neonatal procedures Collaborating within a supportive, team-oriented, collegial practice environment Participating in mentorship and professional development (especially supportive for new graduates) Delivering high-quality, compassionate neonatal care aligned with Pediatrix standards This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
