About The Position
The position is for a Neonatologist in Appleton, WI, focusing on providing specialized care for newborns in a Level III NICU setting. This is a permanent role that requires 24-hour in-house coverage, primarily involving call duties. The Neonatologist will be responsible for rounding on patients during the day and will work closely with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and other Neonatologists. The facility is currently experiencing a vacancy, necessitating the need for a qualified physician to step in and provide care. The role also offers opportunities to participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects, making it an excellent opportunity for those interested in advancing their professional skills and contributing to the field of Neonatology. The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Neonatology and must possess an active Wisconsin medical license or be willing to obtain one.
