About The Position

We are seeking an additional neonatologist to join our outstanding group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners at our Macon, Georgia practice. Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital, located in Macon, Georgia is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia. Our practice consists of a 66-bed, state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU. Services provided include: high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and a brain cooling. Readily available subspecialty support and exceptional coverage by experienced NNPs are part of the practice. The position includes a clinical appointment to Mercer Medical School. Atrium Health Navicent is a designated Level-I trauma center and one of six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia. The new 50,000 square foot neonatal intensive care unit opened in the first quarter of 2019.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology

Responsibilities

• Join a group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
• Provide care in a 66-bed, Level-III NICU
• Utilize high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling services
• Collaborate with subspecialty support
• Work with experienced NNPs for exceptional coverage
• Maintain a clinical appointment to Mercer Medical School
