About The Position

Pediatrix Neonatology of Houston, an affiliate of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking an outstanding Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our practice at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast Hospital, located in Pasadena, TX, a thriving suburb of Houston. We are looking for a NNP who wants to be a part of an amazing group of 3 NNPs and 24 Neonatologists. An exceptional new graduate will be considered. 14 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 8-10 babies Over 2,500 deliveries per year; 300 NICU admissions per year A positive and collaborative environment is facilitated by a very supportive relationship between physicians and APRNs. 24/7 NNP coverage with on-call neonatologist at night. Flexible 24- or 48-hour shifts support an excellent work-life balance. Our physicians and APRNs use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care. Leadership, policy development, mentoring, education, and quality improvement opportunities. Requirements

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
