About The Position

Pediatrix® Medical Group of Florida , is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our nationally recognized neonatology team— ranked #25 in the neonatology specialty by U.S. News & World Report . Be part of a collaborative, high-performing group serving Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital , consistently named one of the Best Children’s Hospitals in the country. Joe DiMaggio NICU has 62 Level-IV NICU beds and 22 Level-II beds; average daily census of 70 and o ver 5,000 annual births, the largest NICU in Broward County System-wide the two sister NICUs have 36 Level-III beds and an additional 8,000 annual births Robust high-risk perinatal navigation program Full complement of pediatric subspecialists Care of full range of complex neonatal diagnoses On site ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, BPD programs, full range of ventilation modes including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA Variety of shifts including 10-12 hour day shifts and 12-16 hour night shifts Rotations to Memorial West and Memorial Miramar with 24 hour shifts About Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (Memorial Healthcare) Joe DiMaggio is part of the Memorial Healthcare System, the 4 th largest public health system in the country and a quaternary trauma center A 4-story vertical expansion was completed at Joe DiMaggio in 2023, as well as a women’s and children’s outpatient pavilion in the nearby Miramar facility Memorial Healthcare received institutional ACGME accreditation in August 2015 and welcomed its first class of pediatric residents in 2018 The NICU is one of only 11 Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers (RPICC) in Florida The hospital offers free accommodations for families at its Conine Clubhouse on the hospital campus, while their babies receive expert care Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including heart transplant, kidney transplant, neurosurgery, hematology/oncology, and ECMO About the Hollywood/Ft Lauderdale area Adjacent cities of Hollywood/Ft Lauderdale are a lively, diverse community with a combined population of approximately 300,000 Nearly 32 miles of beautiful beaches make it a popular destination for tourists and residents Known as the “Venice of America” for its numerous canals and waterways, Fort Lauderdale is a top destination for boating enthusiasts Hollywood features a brick paved Broadwalk that runs along the sand for over two miles with inviting cafes, boutiques and hotels, including the famous Margaritaville Resort A warm, tropical climate offers average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s during the winter and mid-80s in the summer Sports fans will enjoy several professional and college sports, including the Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins, Miami Heat and Florida Panthers The entire South Florida market offers a dynamic urban/suburban lifestyle with an abundance of cultural and recreational amenities

Requirements

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
• Minimum of a master’s degree
