Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Flexible Schedule Options
About The Position
The new neonatal nurse practitioner will be employed by a private practice that is contracted to provide neonatology services at the hospital. They will work with a team of other providers from the practice, also collaborating with the hospital staff and medical directors. The schedule is coordinated collaboratively among all the providers, with the option to bundle shifts if preferred. The hospital is highly regarded for its commitment to women’s and children’s health. It is a small and comfortable facility (not a trauma center) that was built in 2022 and has 170 licensed beds.
Requirements
- Nevada NP license
- neonatal nurse practitioner certification (NNP)
- 1+ year advanced practice experience
Nice To Haves
- hospitalist experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- delivery attendance
- day-to-day management of NICU
- participate in multi-disciplinary rounds
- provide collaborative, team-based care of NICU patients
- ventilator management
- nutrition management
- lab review
- meeting with families
- newborn nursery coverage
