Responsibilities You Can Expect Schedule: 0.90 clinical FTE (24-hour shift model; 1,728 hours annually) Team Model: 1 Neonatologist + 1 NNP per shift NNPs conduct daily rounds; neonatologist provides leadership, assessments, and plan collaboration Supported by highly tenured nursing staff, respiratory therapist, lactation consultants, and more Unit: Licensed for 13 beds, 4 pods | Avg. census: 10-13 Accuity: Level III (B) – 26 weeks and up, ventilation, no surgical cases onsite Case Types / Volumes: Care for a wide range of neonatal conditions within a busy Level III NICU; delivery room coverage for at-risk infants + average of 2,600 deliveries annually Collaboration: Work closely with board-certified neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, OB/GYN partners, maternal-fetal medicine, and a multidisciplinary NICU team.
