About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, Director, and Vice President of Nursing, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner delivers specialty care with a high degree of expertise in perinatal and neonatal health by formulating a plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice. Provides leadership for the health care team by collaborating with physicians, nursing, case manager, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered. Has a collaborative practice agreement with the Neonatologist.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program for Neonatal Nurses.
• Credentialed and licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Neonatal Nurse in the State of Missouri.
• NRP Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in neonatal nursing.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Formulate care plans based on assessments and examinations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case managers, and multi-disciplinary team members.
• Ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered.
