About The Position

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) at Brenner Children's will provide comprehensive care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NNP will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. Responsibilities include performing physical assessments, diagnosing and managing health conditions, and providing education to families. The position requires flexibility in scheduling as shifts may vary based on the needs of the unit.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.

  • Experience with advanced neonatal care techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
