This role assesses patients, develops and initiates treatment plans based on evaluation results, which may include measurements of neuromuscular and skeletal functions. The therapist provides direct patient care, documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers. They assist Level III physical therapists and leadership with program development, serve as a resource to staff PTs, and provide training and guidance to students and interns. The position is also responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
