As a Neighbor Services SHHCC Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking food assistance and related resources. A critical part of this role is supporting access to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), which helps families and individuals afford nutritious food and reduce hunger. Advisors provide direct support through phone calls and other channels, assist with applications, and connect neighbors to community programs. This role is primarily customer-facing (70–100%) with some reporting, outreach, and special projects.
