Negotiation Specialist We are looking for a detail-oriented, client-focused negotiator interested in pursuing a career in the automotive claims space. In this role, you will work closely with our body shop and storage partners to negotiate rates and charges. This is a full-time, remote position with the ideal candidate being self-motivated, reliable, and thriving in a remote work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a client/customer service role.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with computer systems and quick to learn new applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of auto insurance and repairs is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and analyzing CCC estimates a plus.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate directly with repair shops to manage and settle advance charges.
- Make outbound phone calls to handle assigned claims efficiently.
- Review and interpret CCC estimates and total loss charges accurately.
- Perform precise calculations to assess fees for shops and tow yards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally via email and phone with a friendly, client-oriented approach.
- Support colleagues and foster a culture of accountability.
- Manage time effectively and stay organized in a remote setting.
