About The Position

This position is Tuesday - Saturday 1st Shift at our Eastlake facility located at 34300 Melinz Parkway. Objective: X-ray castings, Inspect rough castings, train and maintain supplies

Requirements

X-ray level I certification in accordance to NDTQ and NAS-410.
Ability to follow instructions read writes and able to perform basic math calculations
Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer requirements and specifications.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds
Must pass annual eye exam.
High School graduate or GED required.
Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).

Nice To Haves

Experience in x-ray interpretation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Take radiographic images of castings.
Develop film in the processor.
Perform specific tests and calibrations and document the results in accordance to specific procedures.
Develop and maintain rough casting x-ray techniques.
Interpret rough casting x-ray film to customer requirements.
Inventory and store x-ray film and chemicals to QEI 17.1 requirements.
Mix Chemicals in accordance to instructions.
Make, maintain and replace fixtures and film cassettes.
Provide Level I training.
Pass level I exam.
Keep area clean.
Perform other duties specified by the supervisor.
Adheres to plant and department safety rules.
Safely operates all equipment and tools.
Identifies and reports safety problems.
Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
