About The Position

This is a training position, with a training period of 8 to 12 months to become a Nondestructive Test Inspector in the Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspection methods. Perform Nondestructive testing activities to prepare for NDT Level 2 position. Work under the direction of The Responsible NDT Level 3.

Requirements

High School Degree or an equivalent degree
Minimum of 1 year working in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Work from drawings, specifications, work orders and general instructions, will perform non-destructive test inspections on a variety of aerospace parts.
Set up and monitor equipment and related gages.
Record inspection reports, issue rejection documentation and maintain records, data, logs, etc.
Evaluate Interpret and document inspection results in accordance with written procedures and customer specifications.
Develop written instructions from approved general procedures.
Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
Make recommendations for improvements to work processes.
Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions. Accomplishes related results as needed.
