NDT Technician Trainee – MAG 1st Shift

About The Position

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: · Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. · Obtain experience under direct observation of a Level 2 or Level 3 in the same method. · Adheres to quality processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications. · Correctly interpret work orders · Perform basic NDT support tasks (staging work, etc.) See NAS410- 5.1.1 · Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed. · Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Basic English language skills and the ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
• The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals
• The ability to use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
• The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions
• Meet minimal requirement on Wyman Gordon internal assessments
• Minimal 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior military experience; or technical certification / degree
• GED or High School diploma
• Successfully pass Vision, Written and Practical examinations for Level 1 or 2 in at least one method within a 12-month period.
