About The Position

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician Level II RT/MT/PT for a full-time position York, PA and New Kensington, PA Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents: High School Diploma/GED/Degree Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT Previous level II certifications/OJT

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • NDT Technician Level II RT/MT/PT
  • Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).
  • Completion of an eighty (80) hour Radiation Safety Course (Level I & Level II. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).
  • Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for the following is required: MT/PT

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personnel

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate equipment
  • Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
  • Interpret, evaluate and document
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I
  • Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Obtain and analyze information
  • Edit and present numerical data effectively
  • Travel may be required (less than 20%)
