Requirements

Must provide documented evidence of prior certification at time of hire.
Must demonstrate ability to perform inspections independently, interpret results, and document findings.
Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods and techniques used.
Must be able to conduct system performance checks and apply appropriate acceptance criteria.
Must be capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures, subject to Level III approval.
Must be familiar with relevant codes, standards, and product/process knowledge.
1–2 years of experience as a certified Level II NDT Technician or equivalent experience in a related field
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Demonstrated ability to perform inspections and interpret results effectively
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
NDT Level II Certification in Radiography (RT) is required.
Must provide documented evidence of prior NDT certifications at time of hire.
Must meet NAS 410 requirements

Nice To Haves

Additional certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant.
Testing (PT) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods of inspection.
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
Interpret radiographs, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
Organize and report test results.
Perform specialized inspections.
Provide on-the-job guidance to Level I Technicians, Trainees, and Assistants.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
