Requirements

  • Must provide documented evidence of prior certification at time of hire.
  • Must demonstrate ability to perform inspections independently, interpret results, and document findings.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods and techniques used.
  • Must be able to conduct system performance checks and apply appropriate acceptance criteria.
  • Must be capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures, subject to Level III approval.
  • Must be familiar with relevant codes, standards, and product/process knowledge.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a certified Level II NDT Technician or equivalent experience in a related field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform inspections and interpret results effectively
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
  • NDT Level II Certification in Radiography (RT) is required.
  • Must provide documented evidence of prior NDT certifications at time of hire.
  • Must meet NAS 410 requirements
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant.
  • Testing (PT) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Interpret radiographs, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Perform specialized inspections.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance to Level I Technicians, Trainees, and Assistants.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
