About The Position
The NDT Technician at UL Fire Equipment Services is responsible for performing and witnessing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on automotive fire apparatus aerial devices, including water towers, aerial ladders, and platforms. This role involves conducting safety and non-safety certification inspections, analyzing test results, and ensuring compliance with UL standards. The technician will work outdoors year-round and may need to operate above ground, requiring a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
