The NDT Inspector performs the inspection of piping, storage tanks and pressure vessels. The purpose of the job is to inspect, analyze and identify equipment issues as well as train employees on quality and safety processes. Travel is required. Key Accountabilities: Inspects, analyzes, and identifies equipment to determine where problems or defects are present. Monitors equipment for the purpose of preventing failures and reducing downtime. Provides recommendation of proactive maintenance and repairs to reduce risk and disruptions to the operations. Ensures standardization, consistency, and inspection reliability across customers' businesses. Travels at least 10 days per month within a 3-hour radius; travels 4 to 5 times within a period of 6-months over a 3-hour radius. Builds customer relationships - both internally and externally. Ensures compliance with safety and quality industry standards. Trains and supervises tasks performed by others. Leads all safety training and follow all tkSCS safety procedures (lead by example). This is a position that works directly on or around motor vehicle equipment.
