About the position
The NDT - FPI & X-Ray Analyst (Level II) position at STS Aerospace involves the production and interpretation of radiographic images for quality assurance in aerospace manufacturing. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of tube assemblies and castings through non-destructive testing methods, contributing to the safety and reliability of aerospace components.
Responsibilities
- Produce and interpret radiographic images of tube assemblies or castings for dimensional inspection and flaw detection.
- Adjust controls of Liquid Penetrant machines/equipment to inspect and certify parts or assemblies.
- Follow set radiation safety procedures for personnel and area monitoring.
- Perform system checks as required and ensure compliance with certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands for handling materials; lift and move items as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to pass certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures.
