About The Position

Element has an opportunity for a Nondestructive Etch Trainee to join our growing team. To conduct daily Etch tests in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines. Salary: $20.50/hr DOE Hours: 6am - 4:30pm

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Familiar with testing codes and standards
• Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community
• Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs

Nice To Haves

• Etching metal plating experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily Etch logs in accordance with written company procedures
• Process parts per Element procedures and/or specifications
• General knowledge of chemical processes performed at EMT
• Conduct Chemical additions
• Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition
• Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
