  • Investigates new technologies and methods of manufacture/inspections for potential application to production processes.
  • Proposes new work to expand inspection/process capabilities.
  • Interacts with customers to promote good working relationships and understanding of customer requirements.
  • Develops and maintains inspection/process capabilities.
  • Works with customers to investigate and acquire new technologies which can expand current inspections.
  • Leads collaborative efforts between customer, suppliers, cross-department, and divisions.
  • Plans and manages multiple development projects by preparing instructions, drawings, and routing documents.
  • Prepares customer submittals to communicate detailed information and plans for new systems or systems upgrades.
  • Authors reports documenting process/material testing and well-engineered solutions to problems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor degree in an Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering discipline is required.
  • 5+ Years of industry experience.
  • MS Office Experience is Required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as a part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities is required.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Q clearance.
  • Programming experience (C++, LabVIEW, Python, .NET, Visual Basic, SQL, Fortran, etc.) is preferred.
  • Electronic/electrical experience and instrumentation troubleshooting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in NDT Systems.
