About The Position

The Apprentice Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician role is designed for individuals seeking to enter the field of NDT without prior experience. The position involves assisting certified Technicians in performing inspections to identify corrosion, defects, or other detrimental conditions. The Apprentice will receive on-the-job training and is expected to study for NDT certifications while gaining hands-on experience in various NDT methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An understanding of basic math.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work with computers/computerized equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technician or Sr. Technician on NDT inspections.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices.
• Perform all duties as assigned and adhere to TEAM's Core Values.
• Study to gain NDT certifications while assisting and learning hands-on experience in various NDT methods.
• Perform any duties assigned by the Technician or Sr. Technician on the worksite.
