About The Position

The Apprentice Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician role is designed for individuals with no prior experience, as on-the-job training will be provided. The primary responsibility of the apprentice is to assist certified Technicians or Senior Technicians in performing inspections using various NDT techniques to identify corrosion, defects, or other detrimental conditions. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to company values, and the pursuit of NDT certifications through hands-on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An understanding of basic math.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work with computers/computerized equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and legal regulations.
• Assist the Technician or Sr. Technician on NDT inspections.
• Study to gain NDT certifications while assisting and learning hands-on experience in various NDT methods.
• Perform any duties assigned by the Technician or Sr. Technician on the worksite.
