About The Position

The Apprentice Nondestructive Testing (NDT) technician will support certified Technicians or Senior Technicians in performing inspections using various NDT techniques to identify corrosion, defects, or other detrimental conditions. This role involves hands-on learning and gaining NDT certifications while adhering to safety standards and company values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Understanding of basic math.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Word and with computerized equipment.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to handle chemicals safely.
  • Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Technician or Sr. Technician on NDT inspections.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety standards and legal regulations.
  • Perform all assigned duties and adhere to TEAM's Core Values.
  • Study to gain NDT certifications while gaining hands-on experience in various NDT methods.
  • Calibrate instruments and perform other duties under supervision as required.

Benefits

  • Compensation of $20.00 per hour plus benefits.
