About The Position

The Shipper/Receiver III - Spotter position is responsible for managing the movement of trailers across lots. This position is also responsible for operating industrial forklift trucks to perform material movement assignments.

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL License
• Current DOT Physical and Drug Screen

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year driving experience including backing into docks
• Forklift experience
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Spots designated trailer(s) from trailer lot to assigned dock door or from dock door to trailer lot
• Ensures that all trailer wheels are chocked
• Maintains daily equipment condition report
• Maintains a clean parking/docking area in accordance with standards
• Maintain driver maintenance of vehicle
• Ensure trailers are in adequate operational condition
• Maintain a valid CDL license
• Track and audit trailer inventory
• Operate forklift to perform Shipping & Receiving tasks
