The NDI Robotics Programmer/Operator at Janicki Industries is responsible for programming and operating various machines while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.   • Programs and operates numerous machines.
  • Carries out process improvement on current policies and procedures.
  • Reads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders.
  • Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors and production leads.
  • Identifies and obtains equipment, tools, and materials needed to perform job functions.
  • Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction.
  • Executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities properly.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Uses common hand tools and precision measuring instruments accurately.
  • Complies with safety practices and 5S standards.
  • Understands and complies with AS9100 and Nadcap Practices and Procedures as applicable.
  • Works well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
  • Maintains good attendance as a condition of employment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident due to ITAR and EAR regulations.
  • High school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement.
  • A two-year technical certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for experience.
  • Experience using NX and CAD models is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair is preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to obtain a government-issued security clearance.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or space industries.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
