About The Position
Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is one of the most technically advanced designers and manufacturers of lightweight composite aerospace structures, subassemblies and components. The Manufacturing Engineer for Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) implements and maintains well defined, documented, and controlled Ultrasonic Testing (UT) NDI processes using automated equipment for aerospace structures manufactured from advanced composite materials. Works cooperatively with NDI Inspectors and the NDI Responsible Level 3 Engineer to optimize the process for quality, cost and throughput and addresses other functions that affect product performance and inspection proficiency. Applies theoretical knowledge and engineering techniques to the solution of NDI production problems.
