About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking a NDE Technician - Level II for a position in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves performing nondestructive inspection of materials, parts, components, and/or pressurized systems; interpreting data from tests; maintaining equipment; and supervising NDE activities in accordance with referencing code. This is a non-exempt role reporting to the Area Manager. The technician will develop procedures for a variety of duties and perform complex tasks within established guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• UTT/PT certifications.
• Must have valid NDE certifications and relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Must have TWIC card.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Conducts NDT inspections in various methods.
• Interprets and reports results of inspections.
• Provides support to Level III.
• Instructs and/or supervises trainees.
• Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
